OATMEAL

The Oat is a species of cereal grain, and the seeds of this plant. Oatmeal is a product of ground oat or porridge made from this product. It is also called oatmeal cereal. Oat contains a lot of fiber. There are 2 type of fiber contain in oat that are soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. 

The difference between insoluble and soluble fiber, besides the foods that they come from, is what they do in your body.

1. Insoluble fiber contains phytochemicals that have cancer-fighting properties. It can fight cancer due to the fact that it attacks certain bile acids, reducing their toxicity.

2. Soluble fiber may reduce LDL cholesterol without lowering HDL cholesterol. LDL is bad; HDL is good.
3. Soluble fiber slows down the digestion of starch. This may be beneficial to diabetics because, when you slow down the digestion of starch, you avoid the sharp rises in your blood sugar level that usually occur following a meal.
4. It has been found that those who eat more oats are less likely to develop heart disease, a disease that is currently widespread in Malaysia.
5. Oats are a good source of many nutrients including vitamin E, zinc, selenium, copper, iron, manganese and magnesium. Oats are also a good source of protein.

Oatmeal has a pretty bland taste, which makes it hard for the average person to consume every morning. Here are ways you can make it taste better.

1. Make the oatmeal with milk instead of water. This will also add calcium and more protein.
2. Stir in your favorite-flavored protein powder to it after it's been cooked. This gives the oatmeal a pretty good taste plus it adds protein. Combine this with using milk and you'll have a meal that is high in fiber, calcium and protein!
3. Add fruit such as blueberries to the oatmeal.

You should aim to eat roughly 1 cooked cup of oatmeal each morning for optimal health benefits. And play around with the above preparation suggestions until you find a taste that you fall in love with.
Your heart and body will thank you for it!

FOOD AS MEDICINE

HEADACHE?   EAT   FISH!   
Eat   plenty of fish -- fish oil helps prevent  headaches... 
So  does ginger, which  reduces inflammation and pain.   

HAY   FEVER?
   EAT   YOGURT! 
Eat   lots of yogurt before pollen season.  
Also-eat honey from  your area (local  region) daily. 


TO   PREVENT STROKE
   DRINK   TEA!   
Prevent   build-up of fatty deposits on artery walls  with regular  doses of tea.  (actually,   tea suppresses appetite and keeps the  pounds from  invading....Green tea is great  for our immune  system)! 

INSOMNIA   (CAN'T SLEEP?)
   HONEY!  
Use honey as a tranquilizer and  sedative.  

ASTHMA?   
EAT   ONIONS!!!!  
Eating   onions helps ease constriction of  bronchial tubes.  (onion   packs place   on chest   helped   the respiratory ailments and actually made   breathing  better).

ARTHRITIS?
   EAT   FISH, TOO!!   
Salmon, tuna, mackerel and sardines  actually  prevent arthritis.  (fish   has omega oils, good for our immune   system) 


UPSET   STOMACH?
    BANANAS   - GINGER!!!!!   
Bananas   will settle an upset stomach. 
Ginger  will cure morning  sickness and nausea..  

BLADDER   INFECTION?
   DRINK   CRANBERRY  JUICE!!!!   
High-acid   cranberry juice controls harmful bacteria.   

BONE   PROBLEMS?
   EAT   PINEAPPLE!!!   
Bone fractures and osteoporosis can be  prevented by the  manganese in pineapple.



MEMORY   PROBLEMS?   EAT   OYSTERS!   
Oysters   help improve your mental functioning by  supplying  much-needed zinc..  

COLDS?
   EAT   GARLIC!   
Clear   up that stuffy head with garlic.  (remember,   garlic lowers cholesterol,  too.)


COUGHING?   
USE   RED PEPPERS!!   
A substance similar to that found in  the cough syrups is  found in hot red  pepper. Use red (cayenne) pepper  with  caution-it can irritate your tummy.   

BREAST   CANCER?
    EAT   Wheat, bran and  cabbage   
Helps to maintain estrogen at healthy  levels.  

LUNG   CANCER?
   EAT   DARK GREEN AND ORANGE AND  VEGGIES!!!  
A   good antidote is beta carotene, a form of  Vitamin A found in  dark green and orange  vegetables.  

ULCERS?   
EAT   CABBAGE ALSO!!!   
Cabbage contains chemicals that help  heal both gastric  and duodenal ulcers.  


DIARRHEA?   
EAT   APPLES! 
Grate   an apple with its skin, let it turn brown  and eat it to cure  this condition.  (Bananas   are good for this  ailment)

CLOGGED   ARTERIES?
   EAT   AVOCADO!   
Mono   unsaturated fat in avocados lowers  cholesterol.   

HIGH   BLOOD PRESSURE?
   EAT   CELERY AND OLIVE  OIL!!!   
Olive oil has been shown to lower  blood pressure.  
Celery contains a  chemical that lowers pressure too.   

BLOOD   SUGAR IMBALANCE?
   EAT   BROCCOLI AND PEANUTS!!!  
The   chromium in broccoli and peanuts helps  regulate insulin and  blood sugar.

My New Ride..

Assalamualaikum semua. akhirnya impian saya untuk memiliki 135LC termakbul jua. syukur alhamdulillah dapat juga saya merasa kuasa motor ni. sebenarnya dah lama saya survey2 moto kat dalam internet. macam-macam jenis moto termasuklah 135LC, Fz 150i, lagenda, shogun dan keluaran baru suzuki iaitu belang. semua aspek diambil kira termasukla design, warna, kuasa, enjin, accessory, spare part, dan sebagainya. setelah diteliti dan dikaji, 135LC lh yang terbaik untuk penunggang macam saya. lagipun jenama tersebut sangat popular dan menjadi pilihan ramai sekarang ni. 
walaubagaimanapun tujuan sebenar saya beli moto ni pun adalah sebab untuk kemudahan saya ulang alik ke sekitar sarawak termasuklah, kuching, seri aman, miri dan sebagainya. juga memudahkan saya ke kuching jika ada urusan kecemasan ketika tiada kenderaan lain.

Dengan kuasa yang ada pada moto ini, saya mampu berulang alik ke kuching dengan mudah dan selesa. syukur. kesempatan ni saya nak ucapkan terima kasih kepada member-member yang bawa saya ke kedai motor yang bagus tu termasukla, Ebby, Bong, Rahim dan juga geng2 lain. bagusnya kedai tu adalah sebab servisnya yang berkualiti, layanan pun boleh tahan. tp yang paling penting sekali adalah free give yang dorang bagi. termasuklah high quality locking system, solex, helmet, baju hujan, bakul dan juga beg untuk helmet. 

Thanks jgk kt member2 aku ni sbb sepanjang konvoi nk balik simunjan dorang setia je follow perlahan-lahan, almaklumlah motor baru tak boleh bawak laju2. dahla makan minum pn sponsor. untung ade kawan-kawan yang macam ni.. thanks again.
